Cam Gigandet has been cast opposite Leighton Meester in «The Roommate,» a psychological thriller about a deranged college freshman, Rebecca (Meester), who becomes obsessed with her new roommate, Sara (Minka Kelly). 
Gigandet will play Sara’s boyfriend.
Christian E. Christiansen is directing, and Roy Lee and Doug Davison’s Vertigo Entertainment is producing.
