According to Hollywood Reporter, Cam Gigandet is in negotiations to star in an action thriller directed by Mario Van Peebles, «Kerosene Cowboys.»
The actor will star as a hot-shot pilot, alongside Shane West as his one-time best friend-turned-nemesis and Rachael Leigh Cook as an investigative journalist and Gigandet’s love interest.
Shooting is set to start in October for a 2010 release and will take place in St. Petersburg, Russia, and the Naval Air Station Fallon in Nevada.

Cam Gigandet attented the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards at Paramount Pictures Studio in Los Angeles last night. 
The actor introduced Paramore on stage with his «Twilight» co-stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
