Over the years, we’ve seen our share of good American remakes of foreign films (“The Ring,” “Insomnia”) as well as some not-so-good ones (“The Eye,” “Dark Water,” “The Lake House”) that left a bad taste in our mouths. Recently, Cam Gigandet wrapped up his work on another high-profile translation to our shores, this time of “The Experiment,” and he promised us it will fall into that earlier category…
Read the full story »For years Cam Gigandet was a hard-working actor taking roles on TV shows like Jack & Bobby and The O.C., competing against hundreds of other blonds who were easy on the eyes. Then he slammed Robert Pattinson up against a wall in a little movie called Twilight, and things started changing quickly. SANTA MONICA, California — He’s smart, he’s sexy, he’s charismatic — and if Cam Gigandet’s recent film output is any indication, there’s a rosy future waiting for the other “Twilight” saga stars once they’re done filming sequels.

Five years later, …
