Spike Tv has announced the nominees for the 2009 Scream Awards, a ceremony dedicated to honoring the best in Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Comics and Horror, and Cam Gigandet is nominated for the Best Villain award for his role in “Twilight” as James. You can submit your vote now at Spike.com until October 17th.
The event will be taped on Saturday, October 17th at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles and will air on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 27th.

Cam Gigandet won the ‘Choice Movie Villain’ award for his role in «Twilight» at the 11th annual Teen Choice Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday (August 9) in Universal City, California. He also shared the ‘Choice Movie Rumble’ award with Robert Pattinson.
The Twilight star did not attend the ceremony.

TWILIGHT dominated the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, winning five prizes at the ceremony —  for ‘Best movie’, ‘Breakthrough performance male’ (Robert Pattinson), ‘Best female performance’ (Kristen Stewart), ‘Best kiss’ (Pattinson & Stewart) and ’ Best fight’ (Gigandet & Pattinson).

Cam Gigandet was named Rising Male Star of the year last night during the Home Entertainment Awards show at EMA’s Home Media Expo 2008 at the Palms Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

“I play a bad guy a lot,” Gigandet said sheepishly. He thanked Summit’s Steve Nickerson, for releasing the movie “Never Back Down.”
